The ability to serve customers with multiple locations is one of our areas of expertise. Our clients may have as few as 5 or as many as 150 locations. We serve these clients in a comprehensive manner that includes maintenance, re-roofing, new construction, and budgeting assistance.
When one Midwest maintenance director from a national auto parts chain needed a one source solution for all of his roofing needs, Jewett Roofing presented the solution. In servicing the account, Jewett Roofing repair personnel have traveled the entire region. From major repairs in Iowa, to small service calls in Southern Illinois, our crews respond immediately to fix the problems. While Jewett Roofing is primarily a Duro-Last contractor, our highly trained service personnel are able to repair nearly every roof system. In addition, they are able to evaluate the individual stores and make both short- and long-term recommendations. This allows the client to make strategic budget decisions.

From a sales standpoint, Jewett Roofing has been working hand in hand with this client to determine which of their stores need roof replacement. We provide feedback from our repair crews that include pictures and thorough roof evaluations. This allows them to prioritize their replacement roofs to make sure the correct areas are being addressed. When they are ready, we draft a unique proposal for each store and make recommendations to them for the best solutions. This leads to long-term cost savings by reducing building damage and repair costs.
Recently, I was invited to present an afternoon of roofing insight to their regional maintenance personnel at their headquarters. Along with Tom Allen, a Midwest Duro-Last Sales Representative, we spent a productive afternoon with the group covering a wide variety of topics. Maintenance personnel were educated in roof types, roof deck materials, Duro-Last products, and how to handle emergency repairs. Attendees were presented with several emergency repair items and trained on how they can be used to contain the problems until repair technicians arrive. Also covered in the presentation was preventative maintenance plans and how they can lead to longer lasting roof systems with fewer problems.
