Duro-Last Roofing, Inc. has met
or exceeded all of the major fire and wind code requirements
as well as many regional approvals necessary throughout
the country. Duro-Last Roofing, Inc. has been approved
by Factory Mutual as a 1-60, 1-90 and 1-150 roofing
system and has passed wind uplift tests up to 150
psf . Duro-Last is even listed by Underwriters Laboratory
as a UL Class A material. The code agencies (BOCA,
ICBO, SBCCI, etc.) have approved the Duro-Last membrane
for use in their jurisdictions. Furthermore, Duro-Last
participates in all of the major technical committees
in the roofing industry, plus the American Society
of Testing Materials (ASTM). All of this information
translates into a roofing system, which by design
can provide the consistent watertight integrity that
building owners expect. That's why Duro-Last is known
as "THE WORLD'S BEST ROOF".
The Duro-Last membrane is classified
as a co-polymer alloy and is a proprietary thermoplastic
formulation consisting of resins and plasticizers,
stabilizers, biocides, flame retardant and UV absorbents.
This membrane is then laminated to a weft inserted
knitted scrim. The Duro-Last membrane is available
in white, tan or light gray.
